The grid design for scrapbook pages  is one of the easiest designs to work with.  You create a page with columns and rows. You probably have been doing it without even realizing that you were deigning with purpose. Grids or blocks are perfect when you want to incorporate multiple pictures, journaling and embellishments. It’s a terrific way to use up some of those leftover pieces of paper and odds and ends that you have been saving. It’s an efficient and economical way to use your resources. You can fit more on a page. Since the blocks are formed, each section has clarity. The blocks can be of equal size or not, that’s up to you. Think of pocket pages which are really just a variation of the grid design. You can mix sizes, shapes, borders, content. You can use seams, frames and matting to define your elements.
